1 large green pepper, finely chopped
3 cups water
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 24oz ketchup
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons vinegar
¼ teaspoons allspice
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2-3 drops tabasco
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
¼ teaspoon garlic salt
¼ teaspoon paprika
¼ teaspoon pepper
juice of one lemon

Combine first set of ingredients and boil gently, covered, for three to four hours. Cool and shred the meat, reserving 1 ½
cups of liquid. Combine remaining ingredients with meat and reserved liquid, and simmer for one hour. Serve on rolls.
